Easy to make and fun to eat! These delicious French Toast Roll Ups are a creative and healthy breakfast treat for all the family! I filled them with almond butter and strawberries chia jam, delicious! š
Ingredients
(dose for 4 mini rolls)
2 slices of bread
1/2 ripe banana
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp plant based milk
coconut oil for greasing
Method
In a bowl, combine the smashed banana, chia seeds, milk and cinnamon.
Leave it rest for at least 10 minutes.
Meanwhile roll each slice of bread flat with a rolling pin.
Carefully cut off crusts.
Spread your favorite filling (or almond butter as jam like me) onto each bread slice, and roll up.
Dip each roll-up in the banana mixture.
Heat the coconut oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and pan fry the rolls until all sides are golden brown.
