Ingredients
| 3.5 oz | Frozen peas, steamed or boiled |
| 2.2 fl oz | Water |
| 6 oz | Self-raising flour |
| 1.4 oz | Unsalted butter, melted |
| 1.4–1.8 oz | Grated cheddar (optional) |
| 100g | Frozen peas, steamed or boiled |
| 65ml | Water |
| 170g | Self-raising flour |
| 40g | Unsalted butter, melted |
| 40–50g | Grated cheddar (optional) |
Recipe Tips
For a stronger flavour, add grated cheddar or Parmesan (best for toddlers and adults). The base version is very light, perfect for babies
Method
1
Blend the peas with the water until smooth and creamy
2
In a large bowl, mix the flour with the pea purée
3
Add the melted butter and knead by hand until a smooth dough forms
4
Place the dough onto a sheet of parchment paper and roll it out thinly
5
Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to cut into shapes
6
Transfer the parchment paper onto a baking tray, prick with a fork and optionally sprinkle cheese on top
7
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden
8
Let the biscuits cool completely before serving
9
Buon appetito!
