Ingredients
| 1 cup | Sweet potato, steamed |
| 5.3 oz | Self-raising flour |
| 3.5 tbsp | Butter, melted |
| 200g | Sweet potato, steamed |
| 180g | Self-raising flour |
| 50g | Butter, melted |
Recipe Tips
To save time, instead of cutting the biscuits with a cookie cutter, you can simply cut the rolled dough into small squares using a sharp knife or pizza wheel
Method
1
Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F
2
Place the steamed sweet potato in a large bowl and mash with a fork
3
Add the melted butter and self-raising flour, then mix together to form a dough using your hands
4
Roll out the dough on a floured surface or on baking paper until about ½ cm thick and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter
5
Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for about 10 minutes, checking frequently to prevent overcooking
6
Once cooked, allow to cool completely before serving
7
Buon appetito!
